Yes indeed! We use only the finest fine art papers and canvas available. Our papers are generally cotton rag with balanced PH to give you acid free stability for the utmost longevity. We only use genuine Epson Ultrachrome inks which on the right media allow us to offer a fade free or yellowing warranty of 150 years! (Indoor lighting conditions away from direct sunlight)
For the technical minded the scanner scans at a whopping 1.5 BILLION pixels!
Other benefits are that originals can be scanned in their frames – through the framing glass. Scan size up to 1.5 meters (larger with tiling)
Frankly it is garbage! It is translated from French and means “to squirt” (in a rather unsavoury manner). So it actually (sort of) means “ink-jet” which says nothing apart from the fact a Giclée is an inkjet print. It has no quality connotation or warranty of any sort and and is nothing but a meaningless marketing term to confuse the uninformed and extract more $ from you!
